Dulverton Primary School

Parents & Carers E-Safety Workshop

As you know, everyone at Dulverton is deeply committed to promoting online safety, which we view as an essential part of keeping our children safe and well. We believe that helping children learn how to use the internet confidently and safely is incredibly important, and that schools, parents, and carers all play a valuable role in guiding them through the digital world.

Thank you to all the parents and carers who took the time to complete our recent survey about children’s online habits. Your feedback has been extremely helpful. After reviewing the responses, we are pleased to share that we will be running a series of parent workshops to offer further support.

We invite you to the first workshop on Wednesday, 10th December at 5:00 pm. This session is particularly aimed at parents and carers who are considering giving their child a device with internet access this Christmas. We will talk through key things to consider and provide practical advice to help make this transition as smooth, safe, and positive as possible for your family.

If you wish to attend this session, please book via ParentMail by going to Payments and clicking on Shop at the bottom of the screen (no payment will be taken). Bookings will open on Friday, 28th November at 7:00 pm. There will be 120 places available, and bookings will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that a maximum of two tickets per family can be booked and all bookings should be made by Monday, 8th December.

We look forward to seeing you there and supporting your family in navigating the digital world safely.
