Reception Parents & Carers Phonics and Reading Meeting

We are pleased to announce an upcoming Phonics and Reading Meeting specifically designed for the parents and carers of our Reception pupils. This session is an excellent opportunity to gain insights into how we teach phonics and reading at Dulverton Primary and how you can support your child's learning at home. Understanding the foundations of reading will empower you to actively participate in your child's educational journey.

At Dulverton Primary, we believe in a collaborative approach to education, involving parents as much as possible. For this reason, I would like to invite two adults per child to join us for this informative event at 2:45 pm. This is a perfect chance to ask questions, meet our dedicated staff, and learn more about the reading schemes we use, including tips for effective reading practices at home.

The meeting will cover various key aspects of phonics and reading strategies, tailored to the learning needs of young children.
