Year 2 Trip to The Tower Of London
During the Spring Term, Year 2 will be learning about The Great Fire of London. To further our learning, we will be visiting The Tower of London on Monday 2nd March 2026. We have planned a very full and exciting day for the children which we are sure they will enjoy.
In order for this trip to go ahead, we ask for a payment of £7.85 per child for admission to the Tower of London. We will be leaving school as soon as we have registered the children and will travel to the Tower of London by public transport. If any children are late on the day, we will be unable to wait for them. We will be returning to school at 3.15 pm and we will keep parents/carers updated through ParentMail should we be late. You should give permission/pay for this trip via ParentMail by Friday 16th January 2026, unless there are sufficient parental contributions received this visit will be cancelled. Please indicate below if you are able to help on this trip. Please note: If you are a voluntary helper on this trip you will be required to sign a written agreement that you will not use your phone unless in an emergency and will not take photographs to be put onto any social media.
Children will be required to wear school uniform, appropriate footwear and a coat. Your child will require a packed lunch and two drinks clearly labelled in a suitable bag. Your child’s packed lunch MUST NOT CONTAIN NUTS OR ANY NUT-BASED PRODUCTS including such things as PEANUT BUTTER or CHOCOLATE SPREAD and no cans or glass containers. You are able to order a school packed lunch from the school kitchen by indicating this on the form by Friday 16th January. It is important to note that a drink will not be provided with the school packed lunch due to sustainability and recycling initiatives.
Please now go to ParentMail ‘Payments’ then click on Shop at the bottom of the page to give permission and make payment.
We are looking forward to this day and are sure the children will have a fantastic time.
