Forest School

EYFS children will visit Forest School once a week in Nursery and once a fortnight for Reception come rain or shine.

We put on our waterproofs and our wellies ready to explore and investigate on our Forest School adventures.

Looking for minibeasts, making music, investigating log piles and pond dipping.

Children will have a chance to explore and be creative while learning about the natural world.

They will be able to make dens - encouraging teamwork, plant trees, make bird nests, put up bird feeders etc.  

All these activities are linked and enhance the EYFS development matters curriculum - building foundations in the Prime Areas - PSED, Physical Development, Communication and Language as well as enhancing the Specific Areas too.
