Centre Stage Theatre Academy: Opportunity for Your Pupils – Perform at The Woodville Theatre!

Centre Stage Theatre Academy is inviting children to apply to take part in our Summer Youth Project production of The Wiz at The Woodville Theatre in Gravesend.

Centre Stage Theatre Academy is a local performing arts organisation working with over 1,200 young people across Kent and South East London each week. For the past 16 years, we have provided large-scale theatre opportunities for young performers, with many productions taking place at The Woodville Theatre.

This exciting two-week theatre experience gives children the opportunity to rehearse and perform in a professional theatre environment while developing valuable skills such as confidence, creativity, teamwork and stage performance experience.

Location: The Woodville Theatre, Gravesend
Course Dates: Monday 27 July – Saturday 8 August 2026

Age Groups:
• Juniors (Ages 8–12)
• Seniors (Ages 13+)

Students rehearse and perform entirely at the theatre, giving them a unique opportunity to experience working in a professional performance venue.

Auditions and Applications
• Principal role auditions: Sunday 29 March
• Ensemble places open: Monday 30 March (no audition required)

Supporting Access

We also offer full and part-funded places through our charity, helping ensure all children have the opportunity to take part and experience the joy of performing. Schools may also recommend this opportunity to families who they feel may benefit.
