History Day

Dear Parents and Carers,

We will be having our History Day on Wednesday 7th July 2021. As well as celebrating the school's 50th anniversary, each year group will be using their history skills to investigate a particular decade between 1970 and the present day. 

To help immerse the children in the day we would like to invite them to come into school dressed up for their decade. This could be in the style of clothing or with accessories or anything that relates to that period. To help, teachers will be asking the children to research this as part of their homework.

The decades are:

Nursery & Reception - 2020s

Year 1 - 2010s

Year 2 - 2000s

Year 3 - 1990s

Year 4 - 1980s

Year 5 - 1970s

Year 6 - 1970s and/or 50 years in the future.
