PiXL Parent/Carers Guides for Reading - Autumn 2 Term 2024
We are excited to announce that PiXL has launched a series of Parent/Carer Guides for Reading! These guides have been designed to assist parents and carers in supporting their children's reading development at home, focusing on important areas such as phonics, encouraging independent reading, and enhancing reading comprehension. The advice provided in these guides is practical, clear, and in line with the strategies being implemented in school.
Over the next six weeks, we will be sharing one of these guides with you weekly. We are starting with the first guide, which is titled "Creating a Reading Environment at Home."
