School Council - Food Bank Donations 2023
Dear Parents and Carers,
My name is Martha and I am part of our School Council. During the Autumn term, I was lucky enough to be able to visit the local food bank and help them out.
During this visit they told me that this is the time of year where they get the least amount of food donations. After discussing this with the rest of the School Council, we would like to ask you for donations.
We know that this is a financially difficult time for some families as the cost of living increases but would ask you to donate if you can.
The items the food bank particularly need are:
- Carrier Bags
- Fish
- Meat
- Veg - Sweetcorn, peas and carrots particularly - And Fruit
- Tinned Tomatoes
- Rice, Noodles
- Jam
- Custard
- Toothpaste
- Shower Gel
- Deodorant
- Toothpaste
- Sugar
- Washing Pods
Please do not donate any fresh items.
Please could any donations be sent into school by Friday 5th May.
