School Meals & Pupil Premium

Children can have school dinners or a packed lunch and will be supervised throughout the lunch break by midday supervisors, who are responsible to the school staff and ultimately the Head Teacher. Parents must book school dinners a week in advance via MCAS. If a meal is not booked in time, you will need to provide your child with a packed lunch from home.

These changes also reflect our commitment to local sourcing and environmental responsibility. Vegetarian and vegan meals typically have a lower environmental impact, and offering them more often helps children learn about broader, healthier food choices

At , we want to ensure every child has access to healthy meals and the best possible learning support.

How your child's free meals are funded right now:

  • Reception, Year 1, and Year 2: Your child automatically receives free meals through the national government's infant lunch program.

  • Years 3, 4, 5, and 6: Your child also receives free meals, which are paid for by the Mayor of London's special universal primary school meals scheme.

Why you must still register for Pupil Premium:
Even though every child from Reception to Year 6 eats for free today, registering for Pupil Premium is vital. When you register, our school receives up to £1,550 each year in extra funding to support your child's education. This money pays for extra learning help, after-school clubs, and school trips.

Your child may qualify for this extra funding if you get certain benefits:

  • Universal Credit

  • Income Support

  • Specific tax credits
